Enjoy a day of spooky thrills and chills on Saturday October 25th, as Marlay Park celebrates the ancient Irish tradition of Samhain (or Hallowe'en) with it's very own FREE fright fest!

There'll be ghoulish goosebumps and spinetingling thrills a-plenty with the fantastic Blockbuster Monster Movie mania, featuring two of the creepiest child-friendly flicks to ever grace the big screen! Both movies will be special chosen to be just spooky enough to get kiddies in the Halloween humour - whilst still promising to steadfastedly avoiding any nasty nightmare of things that go bump in the night!

And once the movie madness has gotten everyone in the mood for some monster-mashing of their own,  you can join in the fun of the spooktacular Marley Park Fancy Dress Parade!

Assembles at the Marley Park House at 18.00, the parade sets off 18.30, led by a brass band and creepy special guest - and, of course,  children of all ages are welcome to join in the festive fun! This paranormal parade will move through the park across a very spooky trail, following a fantastic woodland walkway lit by festoons. There'll even be a samba band and dancers bringing up the rear.

The parade will finish up back at Marlay Park House at 19.00 - just in time for the splendid samhain fireworks display! So, whether you are a kid, you have kids, or you're just very in touch with your own inner kid - don't miss the festive fun. Get down to Marley Park on 25th October for ghosts, ghouls and games galore!
