The new Monty's of Kathmandu, Rathgar continues owner/manager Shivar Gautaum's commitment to producing authentic Nepali (as opposed to Indian) food using quality ingredients, and a great deal of passion and heart!

Fans of the original Monty's will be delighted to find the same deliciously aromatic Nepalese delicacies on the menu, while new-comers will be delighted to experience the legendary Monty's "dining experience" in such stunning surrounding.

Inspired by the scenic splendour and cultural treasures of Nepal, the decor features everything from traditional low seating upstairs to a sublime, Zen-like garden outside. The downstairs bar has a fantastic selection of wines, champagnes and Nepalese bites, making it the perfect place to pop in for a glass of wine and a quick nibble.
