The Peppercanister Gallery specialises in modern and contemporary Irish art, representing some of Ireland's leading artists of today, while maintaining a strong involvement in exhibiting important works of the 20th Century.

The Gallery opened in 1999, under the directorship of Antoinette and Bryan Murphy, in the basement of an elegant Georgian house at no. 3 Herbert Street, Dublin 2. The annual programme includes a series of solo exhibitions and three Group Shows. Gallery artists include Liam Belton, Neil Shawcross, Breon O'Casey and Deirdre McLoughlin, with works from many other Irish artists featured regularly.
