The Paul Kane Gallery opened in 1997 in South William Street where it operated successfully for five years, showing the work of emerging artists.

 

It returns now to a new home of Merrion Square where it will continue to show the work continue to show the works of the bulk of these artists who are no longer quiet 'emerging' including Marc Reilly, Megan Eustace, Colin Crotty and Leonard Sheil.

 

Future exhibition include an exhibition of the work of English artist Tom Hammick, who won The London Original Print Fair Prize at the Royal Academy show in 2005 and Irish based photographer Jackie Nickerson's new show, Faith which is the result of two years spent photographing the religious and their interior and exterior spaces from Glenstall Abbey to the Poor Claires.


An exciting contemporary art space in Dublin, The Paul Kane Gallery is located on Merrion Square.
