See the world, meet interesting people, get in shape and do a good deed with the K.I.D.S inaugural charity walk on 6th - 9th November!
TATRAS, A SENSE OF FREEDOM
Dates: 6th - 9th November
Venue: The Tatras Mountains, Slovakia!
You know the old adage "Those who help others help themselves"? Well, if you sign up for the K.I.D.S. inaugural charity walk this November, you can not only treat yourself to a fantastic adventure break-away, meet some fantastic people and improve your fitness, you can also help raise much-needed funds to help some of the world's poorest children!
K.I.D.S. was established in 2007, with the aim of promoting Knowledge, Independence and Development of Skills among Argentina's most disadvantaged children. By raising funds - and awareness - in developed countries, K.I.D.S. hope to provide these children with the skills and self-esteem to take control of their own lives, avoid the dangers of life on the streets and enjoy a real childhood!
Spread over four days, this remarkable charity walk promises to bring travellers around the stunning landscape of the Tatras Mountains for two day-long hikes, and one shorter walk on the day they arrive. The treks may be tough, but the mind-blowing views of flower-packed meadows, sparkling rivers, luxurious forests, dizzying mountaintop views and more ensure that you'll enjoy every moment. In fact, the hardest part will probably be Day 4 - when you have to leave it all behind and come home again!
